WHO: World No Tobacco Day 2010
World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) 2010 “Tobacco-Free: It’s a woman’s right”
WNTD 2010 emphasizes protecting women from second-hand tobacco smoke and make men more aware of their responsibility not to smoke around the women with whom they live and work, with a dual focus on tobacco industry marketing towards women.
Mandated by the World Health Assembly, World No Tobacco Day is an annual event, held on 31 May, designed to promote the World Health Organization’s tobacco control objectives.
